I had pop tars for b-fast.

That's why I was late to class today. I think I made the correct decision.

Good day and God speed. Except for Rex.

2.5 hours, and then I can sleep a lot. No lecture today, and that is amazing news to moi.

I have to study for my i3d final and make a template in xhtml/css for this blog soon.

Today is the all so fun project due date. I validated my site so I think I should get a good grade on it.... although I'm not exactly thrilled with how it looks. It looks like my prepro but .. eh.

Oh well, I think it's still worth an A.

FWD practical

I aced the final. I got the site to look exactly like the one we needed to re-create, save for a few small little glitches.

The funny thing is, I was overthinking the whole thing, thinking Matt would surely use line-height or text-size modifiers, when in fact he just used the default georigia font and h3 tags for headings.

After some tinkering, I got it done and was out in around 2 hours. After class... weekend/sleep!

I finished my FWD final project last night so I have NOTHING to worry about this weekend.

Looks like..

a lot of fellow classmates took a play off today, and skipped 5am lab. I don't blame them. I thought I was getting used to being up at this time, but so far it's just not working for me. Granted, I am much more able to wake up at 430 now, but that doesn't mean I can function for the rest of the day. I'm usually in bed fairly early on tues/thurs nights.

I can only pray to allah in heaven that we do not have early labs next month - I liked the days of CG, where we had class at 5pm and labs at 9am. Those were the good ol days.

One more hour of lab, then sleep time for me.

Garden State

I watched Garden State for the first time since last summer when it was in theatres last night. I forgot how amazing that film is. It's rough around the edges in some parts, but overall what a wonderful story filled with quirky but believeable characters. Easily in my top 10 all time movies, and that's saying a lot (because I have such great taste in movies, of course).

Say what you will....

about the i3d lab, but at least IT has good chairs. With 3 seperate levers, you are assured of a custom, comfortable seating enviroment.

Monday, February 14, 2005

My chair doesn't have one of those lock levers, so now I'm constantly leaning back and it's quite difficult to type while laying back at a 45 degree angle.

If anyone has any ideas of how to remedy this sitation, please help me.

My weekend was good, very relaxing and filled with sleep, video games, and other things.

Check me out!

Arc de Triomphe

That's what I've been working on so far in i3d. I think once I add textures and more detail to the actual structure, Mr. Arc de Triomphe will turn our really nicely. I have a whole week plus any open labs I attend ... so we'll see how that goes.

If anyone actually reads this site, they should go to my actual blog if you want to read things slightly more interesting. I only post in here to meet the extra credit requirements.

Today our preproduction was due, and I'm DONE. Hopefully I get a good grade on this stuff, and I can turn one of these designs into a spiffy project. I'm looking forward to learning new css stuff to compliment the little that I already know.

God bless America.

i3d lab

I'm starting on my new project today in i3d. I'm doing the Arc De Triomphe, and so far it's shaping up very nicely. I'm kind of afraid I'm going to get in over my head when it comes to desiging some of the bumpmaps, etc for the texture on the structure, but I think i'll be able to pull it off. Plus, at this point, anything will challenge me to be better at this program. I'm certainly not the worst 3d modeler in my class, but there's a TON of room to improve as well.

Mouse accuracy...

This may seem trivial, but the mice in these labs suck compared to my MX1000 at home. I'm so used to how precise and fast it tracks that the things in here are awful.

QUIZ TODAY IN CLASS! I hope I get a 100. I know basic xhtml very well, so i hope i do well.

Sleep, here i come!

Every weekend now is dedicated to sleep for me. It's the one thing I look forward to doing. Although, the super bowl is this weekend which should be awesome. I don't care who wins (although my money is on the pats), but it should be a good game.... and it's sadly the last football game till august.

how sad. alas, free agency starts in 3 weeks and the draft is only a month and a half away.

once again, I had i3d today. However, I decided to sleep thru lab, and it was the best decision of my life.

When I woke up at 10am rather than 430am, I felt like a hundred dollars.

It's raining outside

I walked to school today and it was raining.... so now i'm soaking wet. I'm not quite sure that water and electronics are a good mix.

Note to self - either purchase an umbrella, or start driving to school.
